Quality Workmanship Assured

We conform to the standards set out by the the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) and administered in Queensland by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) and to the Housing Industry Association (HIA).

When building or buying a home or commercial building in Australia we take it for granted that all construction is to a standard that meets safety standards to withstand the test of time. The standards required today are much more stringent than they were 100 or even 50 years ago.

1.  Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC)

Note QBCC has taken over and replaced the Building Services Authority (BSA).

QBCC administers the ABCB the national building standards via the National Construction Code (NCC) for construction including structural safety, fire safety, health and safety and sustainability.

All states and territories have their own licensing authority that administers the standards for both the national and state regulations.

For a builder to operate in Queensland they must be licenced by the QBCC. Builders who do not conform to the standards will be deregistered and can not operate. So there is a strong incentive to conform to the laws. More here
